Ask them to buy a 2018 or later Logitech peripheral that requires Logitech G Hub and have them use it. I have to assume they don't know what the state of it is. Again, any developers, designers, UI/UX people, anyone else involved with G Hub (excluding project managers - everyone knows why), we know you didn't mean to make G Hub an abomination. Apparently Logitech is getting rid of their venerable LGS software for the G-Hub. Currently it is in open beta if you have hardware it supports. And if you have LGS 8.89(?) or higher installed it will import any profiles you've created.
I tried giving it a go yesterday, and the interface seems to really be designed for a touch screens. I know it is beta, but what options it has are clunky. It said it imported all of my game profiles then defaulted to running the unremovable game profiles for games it detected during it's installation. Currently, software doesn't require you to log in like Razor's does. But, it does have an option for you to create and upload your custom configs for other players to download, and for you to download other player's configs and this does require (understandably) a login. I'm not sure how this will work, since in my experience it locked onto it's default profiles for games and would let me change them.
For now, I'm on the fence. If they get the profile importing/creating corrected, and fix the usability issues it may be a nice piece of software, but for now I'm sticking with LGS.
Has anyone else tried the G-Hub software? Thoughts/experiences with it?
